GREENWATER PRESS & DESIGNS
Greenwater Press aims to dive beneath the frothy whitewater of modern life. It attempts to pull attention towards the subtle, thoughtful, and fun through unique and simplistic design. The practice applies rich traditional craft while simultaneously exploring ways to make letterpress, bookmaking, and printing accessible and sustainable.
I intend to extend Greenwater Press to include quarterly limited edition stationary drops, a biannual literary publication (King Tide), occasional artist books or commissions, and the rare mixed media collaboration. For now, however, I am mainly focused on improving my design and artistic skills while slowly moving towards sale feasibility.

Greenwater Press is the brainchild of my expanding printing, bookmaking, and press works. This small practice does production printing and limited edition books on letterpress. It also does handmade production works with block printing and etching press. I do not have a personal press, but use others for my letterpress work. The block printing is mostly done by hand at home. All work is entirely produced my me, without the help of AI or other LLMs.
PRODUCTION PRINTING
The print to the left is a Japanese linoleum cut print. I initially drew the tree on procreate for another project. Later on I added the typography—also drawn in Procreate. The image was copied with pencil onto tracing paper and then transferred onto the linoleum. I printed roughly 30 copies of this print with oil based ink on an etching press. This was one of my first major explorations of printmaking.
